If you read this post before, you already know how much I love winter and therefore winter clothing. My closet is full of winter clothing even thought I live in Southern California. I couldn’t help the urge of putting the four patterns of the “Winter Accessories With Paper Piecing”set, the gloves, socks, hats and scarves, together and making this mini quilt.
I also combined the four patterns and it is now available as a collection at Etsy and Craftsy.
I am very new to quilting, so I wanted to keep the quilting part simple. I made a straight line maze around each block. I wanted the back to have a feel of winter as well, so I used this gray with white leaves fabric from moda for the back. To keep with the cold winter theme I used a dark blue fabric for the binding. I am not very happy with the quilting, but as a third mini-quilt, I think it turned out pretty decent.
Update – Charlie seems to be enjoying it!
