Welcome to the second month of the Lego Harry Potter Quilt Along. Last month there was a pretty large number of pattern downloads. Many thanks to those of you who left such lovely and encouraging comments. Since quite a few people have written to me afterwards, I am posting the first two patterns one more time. This way if you are just joining us, you can start from the very beginning.
On to this month’s blocks. Both of them focus on the Weasley brothers.
I have always liked this part of the story. Sometimes we do foolish things, but good friends always find their way back to each other. They would have never found each other without the Deluminator. So here’s a toast to friendship with a Deluminator quilt pattern!
>> Ron’s ears turned bright red and he became engrossed in a tuft of grass at his feet, which he prodded with his toe, “he must’ve known I’d run out on you.”
“No,” Harry corrected him. “He must’ve known you’d always want to come back.” << — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling
The Weasley twins always put me in mind of the Wooster twins from P. G. Wodehouse. Laughter is the best medicine and nobody dispenses it better than these boys. The Weasley Box quilt pattern celebrates their love of laughter!

As promised, here are the download links for the first two blocks, one final time –
Download Hermione’s Bookshelf Download Hedwig
Reminder – Remember to download these patterns by Friday night. The download link will be removed permanently on Saturday morning (August 27th, 2016).
I draw these pictures freehand and then turn them into patterns, which is a lot of work. Please only use them for personal use and do not distribute or share them anywhere. For more information and for the pattern schedule, please read the introductory post.
Sharing your work
If you are on Facebook, you can join the group Pictures With Paper Piecing and share your blocks there.
You can also share them on this Flickr group.
Additionally, I will be hosting linky parties here for you to show off your finished blocks.
Next month is a break month, so there will be no patterns. I will have the next two patterns in the last week of October for you.
